Unfortunately I didn’t save the pencils for page 2 so I couldn’t post them. No much to tell about this page, other than it was originally drawn back in November during a Livestream.
I’m still on not comfortable with drawing Josh. He looks older than he should be.
Uh … how old is he supposed to be anyway? :P

This was drawn back in September.. more or less. Could’ve been early October with the way my memory works.
In any case, pages 1, 2 and 3 of this chapter were actually drawn before the six pages I drew for issue 12. So they are a bit rougher. I hadn’t drawn the characters in quite a while (not in sequential form anyway) and of course my “style” has mutated since my first stabs at this in Chapter 1. Looking back now at that old artwork I can see how I have changed. For one thing Kevin’s nose and muzzle are much bigger and I did draw Burt too small in this page. I have noticed that I tend to draw him fatter than other artists. Maybe I like bellies and I don’ know it. I certainly don’t like my own. :P
The first 3 pages also show my husband’s love for heavy inks. Since then I have asked him to scale back a bit since I feel that my pencils don’t really lend themselves well to “Marvel’ type inking. Fortunately, he listened and softened his lines a bit. He’s awesome.
