Today’s theme. Kevin. Because Why not?
I’m mainly deciding on definite face proportions, he’s the one I change the most every time I draw him. Trent being a close second, but then again, Trent tends to be a drama queen about it anyway.
Anonymous asked: Is the furry comic capre diem all finished? Or is the artist on holidays^^? Plus, can you tell me a website to see the story to its most adavnced point? Sorry for the questions ( stupid ) and the bad english ( french people suck at english lol).
The artist is on a working holiday. Sorry it has been taking so long. Unemployment caused me to have a very erratic schedule (most of my job were last minute part time jobs) As of two weeks ago, I am on a more regular schedule and working on new pages for CD and another comic. Thank you for your patience. Also, the official url for the comic is: cdcomic.com

So during MFF I worked on this on and off during the last two days of the convention. I have this vague idea of doing a set of the cast wearing different kinds of neck ware (and nothing else), so I was playing off of that. In the end I decided to ink it. Then a wild Spiritwolf appeared and said “I really like that!” and I was “Really? Do you want it?” and he said “Yes!” and threw money at my face. I couldn’t ignore such a challenge and threw the drawing at him, then we both ended up with what we wanted.*
*Some exaggeration may apply.
P.S. When I originally sketched it, I only drew the guidelines for the head neck and pecs and left it on the side. Some guy walked by and kept looking at him then he told me he thought I had drawn a giant penis until I explained what it was. I swear, furry conventions are *fun*

Shower Thingy Trent -
I have no idea what they are called. I’m sure you guys will inform me. Anyways, its my head canon that Trent still has his spots down his lower back and butt because … well I don’t think you realistically want to put bleach around those areas. ANY ways, he also loves those shower “poof” thingies. Because he’s Trent THAT’S WHY.
The color version will go up in the CD tumblr and a print version will be available at MFF at my table in Artist Alley.

Now, first, thank you for your infinite patience with me (Redkam) and the comic. Greg has absolutely nothing to do with the delay on any kind of update and the glacial pace. The short explanation is that my job can be a life sucking succubus. Its an office job but last year we went through a tremendous growth spur (which is a good thing) but the powers that be decided that this warranted bringing in at least one more person to take up the slack (which is the bad thing) so suddenly we (my husband and I) found ourselves taking on a lot of new responsibilities, one of them being setting up and learning a new database system on the go and by myself because fuck actual training, it costs the company money.
Also there were several smaller crisis that by themselves are no big deal but I made sure they were. Goddammit I don’t deal with stress well. No actually, I do deal with stress well (didn’t shoot myself after all), I just don’t have a very good attitude about it.
So … RIGHT. Holy-bejeesus I didn’t know this thing had as many followers as it does (I’m supposed to get e-mails about this right?. I’ll look into it)
ANYWAYS, to get back into the CD mood, let’s have some asks shall we? I’ll answer the ones that I can, with a sketch of that character. Just keep in mind that I am not the creator of Carpe Diem (although I do consider them my adopted babies) so the answers may not be quite in character. Maybe Greg will help if he’s up for it.
Anonymous asked: I was thinking about publishing work in progress fan fiction in a bloggish kinda way. How far should copyright concern me? And/or do you want to check stuff like this before it gets out in the open ... you never know :P thanks in advance
Well, I think as long as you give Graveyard Greg credit for creating the cd characters, it should be fine. This would be our very first submission, so I’m not quite sure HOW it works (As in does it publish directly or do I have to approve it first) So let’s try it.
